A little Boys birthday on FEB 23RD

Hello everyone I do not know if this site is just for Christmas but thought I would give this a try. My grandson will be 5 years old on Feb 23rd and Husband of 25 years has lost his job due Company running out of work. Our phone and internet are due to be shut off by monday and the only thing I can think about is this little boy having a birthday or at least something for his birthday, We have permenant custody of the little fellow due to father is not inpicture and mother is in prison a 5 year sentence. Anyway this little guy has alreadu endured so much in his little life I am asking for help please. He LOVES computer games, Cars, Movies on dvd, he wears a size 5 in shirts and size 6 to 7 in pants and size 11 in shoes. he is such a sweet little boy even though his mother did drugs while pregnant he came out with some problems but not to much. Is there anyone who can help us get this little boy something for his birthday. Anything will be appreciated. thank you for leanding your ears and eyes on this precious matter.

A prayer and a plea for chritmas help

We need a Christmas miracle! Two days before Christmas and we have no presents for our children. We have a 10 yr old son and an 8 yr old daughter. We have focused so hard on keeping our home from going into foreclosure, that we haven't been able to buy a single gift. And all for nothing because we were served with forclosure papers this week afterall. I've explained the situation to the children and they both say they understand and everything will be okay. They are such good kids, they deserve at least a little something for Christmas. If you are able to help I would be so thankful to you for brightening my babies holiday. i am 18 years old. married. live with my parent in laws and also parents in a three bedroom house. its the family of 10. my father in law is working and my husband is also but with so many bills to pay this month like all the others there is no christmas gifts for my 11 year old sister in law my 5 year old brother and my 9 and 15 year old sisters. can someone give me advice in how to tell them that there will be no presents this year!!! please

Hello :) My name is Hannah. I am the eldest of five girls that my mother has been raising all alone. Every year, my mother has been scraping as much of her small income together so that us girls can have a Christmas but this year, things are getting harder for us. My mother now knows that we are all old enough to understand that we will not be having a Christmas this year. It hurts us a little, but we are okay with that. We are perfectly content with the playing "Whose Line is it Anyway?" games and sipping eggnog while "It's a Wonderful Life" plays in the background.
We don't want Christmas for ourselves. We want Christmas for our mother. She thinks that she has failed as a mother because she can't buy us presents and give us what she thinks we deserve. We need to change her mind but because of lack of money, we are not getting presents for ourselves. We want to buy presents for a child out there that truley needs help.
I have had plenty of Christmas's. Enough to last forever. But a child out there that still thinks Santa is real, is going to be very disappointed that they won't get any presents. We think that if we were able to provide a Christmas for a child out there, our mother will feel a little better.
I am looking for someone in the Richmond, Cumberland, Chesterfield, Farmville or anywhere close by to these places that needs help. Because of lack of funds, we can only help one child so we are looking for an only child with a single mom or dad. If you are or know someone that needs help, message me.

too late to get help from charities?desperate for help

I'm about at my wits end.I guess I'm too late to sign up for Christmas present help.I've never done this before and now my boys are out of luck.Trying to find a super cheap kindle for my youngest. He loves to read.He doesn't live with me and he was supposed to visit but now I can't even afford to get him one way.
If there are any agencies still open to help for holiday gifts,or,any angels who could send anything to help,I swear when I get on my feet ,I will give it back double.

I am 23 I have a wonderful 2 year old, I am engaged and we are struggling this time of year we moved into our first house and everything that could have gone wrong did. We are hard working people he works 2 jobs and I work and go to school full-time. and now unfortunately everything were making is going to fix the house to make it safe to live in and to pay the rent and bills. My fiancee doesnt know I am doing this but I want my daughter to have a great holiday she really hasnt had a good christmas yet and this year she is almost 3 and is finally telling me certain toys that she wants and it breaks my heart to kknow that I probably wont be able to get it for her. I would never ask for assistance unless it was the only choice I had, I cant bear to wake up christmas morning to and empty tree, it makes me cry everytime I think about it, I do for others at everychance I get, I have helped many single mothers with their bills, clothing and food, and I am hoping that now that I am the one in need someone out there will feel my pain. Help for my family this Christmas Season!!

My family and I live in northwest Louisiana and things are not looking good for us this Christmas season...It is just my husbund and I along with our 13 year old son.....Because of lost hours at work, car breaking down, and my husbund being disabled, we have fell behind on bills...I have spent what little money I have to keep car going.....My husbund recieves his disablity, but it all is just enough to get by and none left for Christmas.....In the past we have helped others that are where we are now and that is why I now am asking for help....I hope to be able to do the same again soon....We just never know when things are good and we are helping another family out, that one day we may be in their shoes and needing alittle help....I would appreciate any help for my family...

I am a mother of three wonderful children and I am getting by with making ends meet, but this year like the last hasn't been a Christmas at all. I didn't have any money to get a tree or gifts and I was hoping that this Christmas could be different, but I haven't been able to any of what I planned due to me just getting this job and paying bills. I haven't asked for anything in the past and theres one thing that I would do and that is ask for help for the sake of my kids and making them happy at least this one time. I am a mother of 5 children 2,4,9,11, and 14. My husband does work but his pay isn't even paying all the bills. My kids deserve to have a wonderful Christmas and we just can't give them that this year. We need all the help we can get. Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated. I am from the Inland Empire (CA) and I'm looking to get in touch with people who need help with Christmas presents for their children. I am dedicating this Christmas to giving rather than receiving, since I have realized I don't need any more stuff. I have asked my loved ones if they wish to give me something to please buy things I can give to others who truly need it, and I will only include in my list those whom I feel would really benefit from receiving presents, not only because they would feel good about it but also because they would receive things they really need. I'm not rich, nor do I have a lot of money, I work as a server and make minimum wage + tips. I have a beautiful niece and an amazing nephew and they're going to have a nice Christmas and I want to make this possible for other children whom might otherwise not be able to. Send me a message if you or someone you know would like to be included in my Christmas list, make sure to include what city you live in since I'm trying to do this locally trying to avoid shipping expenses.

Ok so we had a really bad year last year with me being in a violent relationship and having major troubles with regards to rent and bills and i am finally pulling myself out the stuggle but I am still worried i wont be able to give my children the best christmas they will ever remember to date. I saw this on dragons den and thought why not give it a go. I have not go a lot of family but what i have got i have asked them if they would help also. The kids have compiled a wish list and i would like to try and give them everything they ask for if not some of what they would like as they have not had a good christmas ooh as long as i can remember this is a fresh start for us and i want to show them that thing can and will get better. I would really appreciate if anyone could help even if its a 20p donation. the money does not ome to me and you can either donate or buy the items on the list. Thank you for looking even if that is all you can do. Some of the things on there are a bit random but there kids with big dreams so i didnt have the heart to take them off. Struggling family of 5 in need of "Christmas Angel" to help with Presents

Hello my name is Chris and I'm writting in regards my struggling family of 5. Recently we brought our family to the Sandusky Ohio area to be with my wifes disabled mother and we're now stuck between a rock and a hard spot. Due to a combination of the economy and lack of work in the area, I have come to be laid off twice this year before becoming eligible for unemployment benefits. As if things weren't bad enough, our family used up all of our allowed O.W.F.(government cash assistance) benefits over the past 5 or 6 years, and were cut off of our food benefits due to my wife becoming employed, even though she only makes $7.50 an hour and only gets 25-30 hours a week. Every dollar made goes toward rent, bills and groceries. So naturally on such a fixed income we are stressed out trying to figure out how we are going to provide a Christmas for our 3 girls of 9,10 and 13. We tried to sign up for help through local organizations only to find out we were to late and our 13 year old wouldn't have been eligible for assistance because she was "to old". had I known we wouldn't be able to find gainfull employment we would've tried to sign up for Christmas help earlier. I don't know where else to turn. In all our 16years together we've never encountered this extreme hardship of not being able to do for our girls and are deeply sadend by this fact. We have always done the best we could for our girls and this year we fear we won't be able to. Our girls don't deserve to wake up to nothing and I couldn't live with the fact that I didn't try to use every option to try to get them the Christmas they deserve. If ever there was a time of need for our family it is now. We are a proud family and don't usually resort to charities for help because we believe that those charities are for those who really need them but now we are one of those families in need. It's hard for me to even ask for help because I'm so used to my wife and I providing the best we can. Even if my family is not fortunate enough to recieve help, I'm glad that there are Organizations out there to help some share the "Spirit of Christmas". I just pray that my 3 girls,who are so deserving, can find a "Christmas Angel" to look over them this year. Thank you for taking time out of your day to consider our situation and Merry Christmas!

Just wondering if anyone out there can help a family of six with christmas. I know this is cutting it close but I have been trying to come up with money but seems everytime I have a little something big comes along to take it away. My husband had emergency surgery a month and a half ago and we just can't seem to get back straight. We have absolutely nothing for our four kids and I am starting to worry. I only spoil my kids twice a year (birthdays and christmas) everything else they want they have to work for. Now I am stuck with nothing to give them and they are so looking forward to christmas. Don't know what to do or say to younger ones to make them understand santa may not come this year. Any help or suggestions would be wonderful.

i need help for my 6year old granddaughter can't afford to buy her anything this year no money she will be unhappy,she hasn't ask for much just anything to do with hannah montana and dora things and games for her age,nail polish,bath stuff,she needs clothes pants&shirts size 5-6, shoes size9-10 socks size 9-10,coat size 5-6-7,if anyone has any coloring books,reading books,markers,art supplies,pencils new or used would really be appreciated.thnx and god bless everyone a sad christmas this year
